Why Give/Tithe?

GENEROSITY changes lives – ours and the people to whom we give. At Family Worship Assembly, taking action on your generosity is simple.

Tithing is our starting place in giving. The Bible teaches us about a baseline standard for giving: the tithe (a word that literally means a “tenth”). When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.

God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to specific projects at our local church and to other organizations and causes that we personally believe in.

3-Month Challenge
One way FWA encourages you to honor God in this area of your life is by committing to tithe over the next 3 months. Not only will you be obeying God, but God will bless you in return. Simply sign up for the challenge below and we’ll send you a FREE copy of The Treasure Principle along with other resources and encouragement along the way.

Follow the steps below:
1. Register
Register for the challenge and commit to tithe 10% of your income for the next 90 days.

2. Give
Give 10% of your income to your local church for 90 days either in-person or online.

3. Record
Make a notes of God's blessings in your life during these 90 days and share your story with FWA.
